New Year goals

So I am looking forward to this new year. I look at each year as a new chapter and a rebirth. This year I wanna lose some weight. I know everyone says the same thing but my weight is starting to take its toll on me.So I gonna make it thy year I do this, cause I need to. The weight has even taken its toll on my additude towards things, I'm just not that happy with things as I use to. So, let this be the year of change not only for me but for everyone. Happy 2010 everyone. May you all achieve your goals and welcome a inner you.

  1. It's amazing how the way we feel about ourselves can change our entire outlook and perspective on everything around us. I think it's wonderful that you aren't going to just accept less than what you're comfortable with. Get it, girl! You deserve to be happy with YOU! :)

  2. Girl, you can do it! Yes, I agree, everyone tends to say the same thing but everyone is different in how they go about it. You will have to do the majority of it yourself BUT don't ever think you don't have support @ #mamavation or anyone you twitter with. Keep posting your progress, would love to read your progress!

  4. You're right Niurka. We all hope to do very similar things every year, and it seems we easily get side tracked and lose focus on the initial goal, but we gotta stay motivated to make it happen! Like you, I believe the new year makes you feel like you can breathe some fresh new air into your life, a new start, the incentive to get it done! The main reason I cut my hair was for the new year. I kinda wanted to feel like a new person. Losing weight is definitely more of a challenge than cutting your hair. But as long as you keep that goal in mind, Niurka, you are on your way. We know you can do it and all your friends are rooting for you!

  6. You can do it! The most important part of goal setting is writing it down. If you don't writ eit down it is just a wish. I just taught a lesson the the young women at church a couple of weeks ago about goal setting. Set your long term goal (to loose weight) and then set short term goals to accomplish it (exercise twice a week, don't eat past 7pm, something like that). Make sure you make a plan as to how you are going to accomplish your goal. And if you can, have someone to review your goals with every so often, I think monthly will work for me. I become more responsible this way. Have a great new year. "See" you Monday at momTV!
